Springwood Central State School’s tuckshop provides students with a convenient range of nutritious hot and cold food options. The tuckshop operates every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with the menu developed in accordance with the Department of Education’s Smart Choices guidelines.
Ordering through Flexischools
Families are encouraged to place orders online using Flexischools (https://wwww.flexischools.com.au). The Flexischools app is available through the App Store and Google Play and allows families to place and manage orders at any time.
Once an account has been created and linked to Springwood Central State School, orders can be placed immediately. Information about registering and using the service is available on the Flexischools website.
Ordering in person
Orders may also be placed using the paper bag system. The student’s name, class and order should be clearly written on the bag, with the correct payment enclosed. Order bags must be handed in at the tuckshop in the morning on operating days.
A separate bag is required for each break when ordering food for both first and second break.
Orders for students in Years 1–6 are prepared for collection from the tuckshop at the appropriate break time. Prep orders are delivered directly to students.
Supporting our school
The tuckshop is operated by the school’s P&C Association and provides an important service to students and families while also raising funds to support school programs and resources.
Volunteers play an important role in the successful operation of the tuckshop. Parents and carers who are able to assist are encouraged to contact the P&C Association or speak with the school administration team.
