Health and Physical Education Program
Springwood Central runs a comprehensive Health and Physical Education (HPE) program, with each class participating in a 1 hour lesson every week. Our HPE program covers everything from perceptual motor programs in prep, right through to specialised sport programs in years 5 and 6. Students also study health related topics such as safety, hygiene, mental and emotional wellbeing, exercise and healthy eating.

well in these events and meet minimum qualifying standards will also have the

Carnivals.
Distric Sport Representative Teams
Students also have the opportunity to trial for Logan District representative teams in a wide range of sports. As they are representative teams, these trials are only suited to students who have significant previous experience in the sport and a solid understanding of the rules. If there is a sport your child may be suitable for, contact our HPE teacher, Mr Gray, for more details about trial dates and to discuss your child's suitability to trial.
