Springwood Central State School is fortunate to have the support of a school chaplain on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Our chaplain provides social and emotional support to students and staff and serves as a positive, trusted adult within the school community. Through individual support, group programs and school activities, the chaplain helps promote student wellbeing, positive relationships and stronger connections between the school, families and the wider community.
Participation in chaplaincy programs is voluntary. Parent or carer permission is required before a student can access ongoing chaplaincy services or participate in specific programs.
Chaplaincy support at Springwood Central State School is focused on student wellbeing and is not religion-based.
